Holiday Party Must Have! 1827 Rum Balls!

Originating in Danish bakeries, the rum ball is a popular holiday treat all over the world. Danish bakers used leftover cakes mixed with melted chocolate and rum to make the first rum balls. 
When searching for rum ball recipes online, a quick Google search resulted in a whopping 11,600,000 results! Our recipe is quick and easy with great results. 

1827 Spirits Chocolate Coconut Rum Balls 

Ingredients

12oz vanilla wafers

1 cup Almond Flour

1/4 cup cocoa powder

3 Tablespoons light corn syrup

1/2 cup Sandbar Duel Coconut Rum

powdered sugar for coating

Place wafer cookies in a food processor and pulse until they are crumbs.
Add the rest of the ingredients except the powdered sugar.
Pulse the ingredients   
until well combined and a dough forms. Take a tablespoon of the mixture into your   
hands and roll into a ball. Roll in powdered sugar. Continue until all the dough is used.   
Approximately 25-30 rum balls.
Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks. The longer they sit the better they get.
